“Digital Skills Training Project for the Construction Industry and Related Sectors”
Project No. 4.2.4.1/1/24/A/006
It is well known that the construction industry is developing rapidly, which demands a continuous update of existing knowledge with new, innovative skills. A new development in the construction industry is SlabControl 5.0. It is a wireless, real-time monitoring solution that provides immediate insight into the concrete curing and performance process, ensuring it meets quality and safety standards. By monitoring parameters such as temperature, external vibrations, tilt changes, concrete load-bearing capacity, deflection, and concrete shrinkage, the collected data helps identify various issues, such as improper curing, excessive shrinkage, or unexpected stresses. Continuous monitoring improves overall project efficiency by reducing the risk of costly repairs or delays caused by unforeseen problems.
The company “Adventum Tech” has developed a web-based software solution—liveload.app—where data from SlabControl 5.0 is compiled, displayed, stored, and analyzed. The liveload.app software services allow valuable data to be saved with easily accessible and secure access for all involved participants in one place. The data is easy to understand and can be customized and modified according to the clients’ metric values. These monitoring systems provide instant data, which in turn helps ensure the safety, quality, and efficiency of the construction project.
Real-time monitoring is essential not only for optimizing construction timelines but also for reducing costs and improving worker safety. It also provides additional benefits such as risk mitigation in project execution, enhanced control over construction processes, material usage control, as well as supplementary knowledge for case studies, planning, and situation assessment.
