The aim of the project is to provide support for the acquisition of qualifications, retraining, or the acquisition and improvement of skills for employers' personnel in order to promote workforce productivity.

ECWINS – A Window to Europe for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises

The ECWINS project helped SME window manufacturers adapt to CE certification requirements by providing an innovative model for obtaining CE marking without physical testing for each window type.

Main Goals:

  • No physical tests required to obtain CE certification
  • SME-adaptable window design and manufacturing model
  • Development of new window construction models
  • Creation of a CE certification assessment tool
